January 6th, 2005 - Metallica to Appear On Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute

METALLICA, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, SEBASTIAN BACH, KID ROCK, SALIVA, Zakk Wylde (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, OZZY OSBOURNE) and Dee Snider (TWISTED SISTER) are among the many artists that have reportedly contributed LYNYRD SKYNYRD tunes to an upcoming tribute album, "Heavy Helping", due later in the year via Sanctuary Records.

December 29th, 2004 - Metallica Master Of Puppets SMITI Playset

 
Entertainment Earth (www.entertainmentearth.com) report that Stevenson Entertainment Group will make their new METALLICA Master Of Puppets SMITI Playset available in January, 2005.

Retailing for $29.99 (US), the Metallica - Master Of Puppets SMITI Playset is a numbered, limited edition collectible. This mini-figure playset includes all band members, their instruments, and stage accessories, featuring Cliff Burton.

December 26th 2004 - Some Kind of Monster named Best Documentary of 2004

Metallica's film Some Kind of Monster has been named the Best Documentary of 2004 by The Broadcast Film Critics Association.

The SKOM DVD will hit stores on January 25th.
