Members of the Swedish METALLICA forum Metallica.nu have joined forces in launching a project that they hope will result in a stone being erected in the memory of former bass player of METALLICA, Cliff Burton, who died in a bus accident just outside Ljungby, Sweden in 1986.
"Everyone that we have spoken to [is] positive to this project and wants to support us as much as they can," reads a post on the project's web site. "For example Aftonbladet (the leading newspaper in Sweden). "After some research that we have done we've heard that this project has been 'up on the carpet' before, but for some reason have not come to a conclusion.
