| I'm Bernd, living in the heart of the Alps, in Tyrol/Austria, and in my work life I'm a teacher for Italian and History in a business school. My first contact with Metallica was the Justice record and the song Eye of the Beholder. In the mid 90s I started trading audio bootlegs and vhs tapes of their shows...and the pasion for Metallica's powerful live performances and their unique music is still there. The greatest days in my fan life were those spent in copenhagen in July 2009 when I had the pleasure to be part of the Fan Can 6 project and was able to meet our heroes for the first time. Whenever the band is in Europe I try to visit as many shows as possible and it's always nice to meet metpagers, trading friends and new people at the shows. | |  |
