Today we saw a changing of the guard.  Poolzer has stepped down from his role at Metpage, the following is his post:

My fellow members and community, today I am stepping down after the many years of supporting, helping and leading this great site. It has been a great ride and I have made many, many cool friends throughout the years that now fill my trillian window. Building up the site has not been any single person's task, it has always been a team effort. The people around me that have been a part of and/or are a part of this great site have made my job easy. The respected members, the staff, all the tapers/filmers, authors, cover artists and members have made this place the forefront of all things Metallica.

I will be lurking around now and then while I am gone, but for the most part this deployment will keep me away from here (cheers from the peanut gallery!).

But 1st I must announce the person that will take the helm of this site, work with the staff, and bring his experience, great humor, knowledge and presence to move this site onward and upward.

You know him, you love him and damned if you haven't heard of him because of his work at Metfuk and all OVER this great community.

As I step down, I give a high-five to the guy you'll send your gripes to, your comments to and who will lead this great site.
